Diana Martin, Owner/Director
I am a mother to five beautiful daughters. My love for children began with them and continued to grow as they did. I opened an at-home daycare until my daughters started school. I worked as a Childcare Director for two local non-profit organizations for a total of 15 years. I wrote a letter in 2011 while obtaining my Directors credential and it ended with "One day I will have my own childcare center. Life to me is not how much I can receive, it's how much I can give." Here I am living my dream, owning and operating my own facility along with my family. I believe in providing quality care, and building strong relationships with families. I will strive to create a warm, welcoming, engaging environment where anyone is welcome, and everyone can thrive.
Katrina Raines, Assistant Director
To say that I am passionate about working with children would be an understatement. I have over thirteen years of experience working with students anywhere from 6 weeks to 12 years old. My specialty is classroom design, individualized lesson plans, curriculum implementation, crisis intervention, and de-escalation techniques. I am trained in ELC's Pyramid Implementation, Conscious Discipline approaches, and creating Intensive Intervention Plans as needed. I love what I do. I have always considered this line of work to be soul work. The joy you get from teaching someone a new skill is unmatched. My approach is always focused on teaching new skills and self-regulation techniques. I am a firm believer in creating an environment where everyone feels welcome, and where anyone can thrive developmentally and emotionally.
